The Second Front

We are watching in shock as the nation of Ukraine is under assault by a neighboring country. In my video above I give an in-depth background and appeal for what I am sharing with you here. Please take the time to view it.

It is important to both understand and practice what has been given to us in scripture in this time of war.

“Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you. Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you war against the evil strategies of the accuser! Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities, and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods, and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.” (Ephesians 6:10-12; TPT)

In the midst of our prayer times, we must understand that there is a second front to any war—the prayer front. Our battle is supernatural in nature.

In fasting and praying to understand which of the powers of darkness, or territorial spirits, are fighting right now in Ukraine, I understood that it is Perun, the god of war. As one studies the history of Ukraine and Russia, we know that they were one country ruled by Vladimir. In his pre-Christian days, (and the latter case could be debated), they worshiped Perun. This spirit wants its complete territory back.

Many nations have at one time worshipped the god of war. It seems like the gods of war are arising again and want to set nation against nation. This could lead to World War III.

In my book, Possessing the Gates of the Enemy, I taught how to deal with these spirits in a safe way. We are clearly given authority over them in the book of Ephesians.

I am calling the generals of God on a worldwide scale, and believers everywhere, to set aside a time to pray that the war in Ukraine stop. Also, this does not need to spread to all of Europe and the nations of the world. God loves both the Ukrainian and Russian people. It is not His will that thousands perish; many that may not know Him.

A combined consensus of a number of different prayer movements around the world is that we should set aside March 16th, which is biblical Purim, to pray that the powers of darkness affecting both the Ukrainian and Russian conflict, and each of our nations, be bound concerning war.

Many intercessors in the United States feel that Baal, the storm god of war, is the strongman that we are fighting here over our nation. We are being sent dreams that tell of Washington, D.C., Seattle, Washington, and other cities being bombed. Prayer leaders from Alaska are interceding against an invasion. Leaders in Taiwan and other Asian nations are concerned about a take-over from China. Ancient animosities all over the world are being triggered.

The story of Purim was one of deliverance from a power far greater than the Jews. Haman looked invincible, but God intervened after prayer and fasting. We must believe that God will do the same for our nations today.

Let’s put out Shields Up together and hold the line!

Prayer Guide for March 16, 2022 Purim Concerning
the Russian invasion of Ukraine

We have chosen Purim as the date for a concerted prayer effort because, as most of you know, it is a time when there was a great crisis for the Jewish people and, through fasting and prayer, there was a complete turnaround for the Jewish people.

Looking at this in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we are believing that God will give Ukraine a similar deliverance. This is not to infer that God does not love Russia and the Russian people. The Lord, the Captain of the Lord of Hosts, fights for the righteous.

Father God, we come to stand in the gap for this conflict with a humble and contrite heart towards You.
Please forgive the sin of my own nation for any way we have knowingly, or unknowingly participated in corruption between any of the other nations.
We know this is a David and Goliath story and are crying out for a supernatural intervention on Your part in this situation.
Lord, protect Your children in Ukraine.
Father God, we ask You to send your angelic hosts to fight for an end to this atrocity.
We ask You, God, to turn this horrible conflict around for good, and any corrupt players who are in place in both Ukraine and Russia be dethroned.
There are evil spirits the Bible says we are to wrestle against that are called powers of darkness, (Ephesians 6:10-12). We know that we are to target them as they are wreaking havoc on these nations; in particular Perun, the god of war. We decree in Jesus’ Name that this spirit, which was once worshipped in this region, will not expand its territory.
We now declare and decree that Perun is bound from interfering between these two nations.
Father God, now we pray that this war be stopped. We declare that it will not expand to any of the neighboring or regional countries and escalate into World War III in Jesus’ Name!
Father, now heal the nation of Ukraine. Heal the families who have suffered the great loss of family members and possessions. Comfort the family members of both the Ukrainians and Russians who have lost relatives in this conflict. Heal the nations from the devastating effects of this conflict. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
