From AWAKE CT
CT PRAYER EVENTS
“Whatever happens, keep living your lives based on the reality of the gospel of Christ….that you stand united in one Spirit and one passion-celebrating together as conquerors in the faith of the gospel. And then you will never be shaken or intimidated by the opposition that rises up against us.
Philippians 1:27-28a (Passion Translation.)
February 26- Collegiate Day of Prayer
“In 1823, a day of prayer was born. The Church in the U.S. chose the last Thursday in February to pray for college students. Radical transformation was seen as the church united in prayer for students. Then, the day was slowly forgotten and died. In 2010, the movement was resurrected…” Our God is moving in a powerful way on college campuses today. Let’s pray for our CT colleges and especially for Yale with the upcoming March services on that campus. You can also adopt a campus near you to pray for on a regular basis.
March is a significant month in CT. Below are prayer initiatives and events in our state. May we all give Holy Spirit the room in our hearts and schedules to lead us where we are needed for the Father’s will to be done in CT as it is in heaven.
May 1-4 Great American Prayer at Yale New Haven
We in CT have the privilege to join in worship, prayer and repentance nightly at 7PM at the First and Summerfield United Methodist Church at 425 College St, New Haven. Yale has been part of many revivals since its founding in 1701. We will be joining all other states on these days, calling believers to stand together, seeking spiritual renewal and healing for our nation. This call is rooted in Ezekiel 22:30 where the Lord is seeking a man to stand in the gap for the land so He would not destroy it. There will also be a prayer walk along Rt. 34 on either the 1st or 2nd of March. I do not have any particulars on this yet. Background and all information you need is can be accessed by the link below.
March 18- CT March for Life in Hartford
Beginning at 9:30 till 11 there will be a service at South Church in the Chapel for Worship, Repentance and Prayers. South Church is located at 277 Main St. in Hartford. Parking is accessed at the rear of the church on Buckingham St.
There will be a rally at the Capitol at 11:30 at 210 Capitol Ave. If you are attending the service at South Church you can walk the 3 blocks to the Capitol.
The March will begin at 12:30.
March 19-22-The ONE Conference 2026-New England Prayer Center
This will be held at Gateway Christian Fellowship at 129 Bull Hill Ave. in West Haven. Cost is $59.00. Speakers will be Brian Simmons of the Passion Translation, David Wagner, Len Ballenger and others.
Dan and Gina Blaze are the founders and Co-Directors of the New England Prayer Center and are a gift to the body of Christ in CT. Their mission statement is: “There’s nothing more important to God than prayer. We have no greater need and no greater privilege than to connect with our Creator.” That is what happens at the ONE Conference. For more information and to register, use the link below.
