Lisa hosted a class for several of us last Spring.  I highly recommend taking this class.  It is truly motivating and blessed us with a deeper understanding of our Godly roots and covenant Godly government of our founding documents.  It links us to the true government of this country.  At least 1,000 towns/cities here in NE have been dedicated/covenanted to the King of kings and Lord of lords.  NO KING BUT JESUS.  Not only that we are called to disciple the nation.

I hosted the Constitution Alive video series last year and some of you participated. Patriot Academy now has a new class, Biblical Citizenship. For those of you who couldn’t participate last time and are free on Monday evenings, I highly recommend signing up for this class. (I have.)
My fellow Convention of States volunteer, Bill and his wife Mary Jane, are hosting. He is a wealth of historical information about our great Country. I believe you will learn a great deal and perhaps be spurred on to become actively involved in restoring our Republic.

Dear Patriots,

I am happy to inform you that two of our team members, Bill Guiffredo and his wife Mary Jane, are going to be offering a Biblical Citizenship Class on a Zoom platform and they are inviting you to attend.

The program founded by Rick Green, a former Texas state legislator, is a free , eight-week course that explores the relationship between biblical values and constitutional rights. It shows how our Constitution was founded on biblical principles.

Bill and Mary Jane say that they have found hope for the future of our country, that their grandchildren will inherit. In volunteering for the  Convention of States Movement and programs such as The Biblical Citizenship class, they are learning about the foundation upon which America was built and want to share it with you.

The uniqueness of America is in how the government was established by the people to protect their God given rights. Our founders knew we did not derive our rights from the government but our current political leaders, of all parties, have the order of authority reversed.

The classes will begin on Presidents’ Day, February 21st at 7pm. They will run on each consecutive Monday for eight weeks, for approximately an hour and a half each session. The Governor’s Emergency Orders Expire Feb 15, 2022.

The Governor has asked legislative leaders to extend his emergency powers and pass legislation to codify some of his previous executive orders. The Governor has asked for codification of EO 9-1, which allows the Connecticut State Department of Education to require masks in schools, and EO 13, which enables DPH to impose mask mandates at their discretion. Click HERE to read the letter Gov. Lamont sent the legislative leadership. The legislature plans to hold an informational public hearing via Zoom on Feb 8th, 9 AM to 3 PM, to get your input. Please participate in this informational hearing and make sure your opinion is heard. Here is how to participate.

  • You can send a written testimony or testify via Zoom.
  • Please email written testimony to  The testimony needs to be in Word/ PDF format.
  • If you wish to testify via Zoom, you must register using the On-line Testimony Registration Form. The registration form must contain the name of the person who will be testifying. Registration will close on Monday, February 7, at 3:00 PM.
  • Speaker order of approved registrants will be listed in a randomized order and posted on the CGA Website Calendar under the event on Monday, February 7 at 6 PM.
  • Speakers will be limited to three minutes of testimony.
  • The Informational Hearing can be viewed via YouTube Live or on CT-N.com.
  • The first two hours of the hearing are reserved for state officials.
Based on the public input, the legislative leadership will put forth legislation on February 9 and February 10, which will be debated and voted in both chambers of the legislature. As I have indicated earlier, I will vote to end the Governor’s emergency powers.    Sincerely,
